Company
Overview
We
generally work with small manufacturing companies in southern New
England. Using engineering creativity and an extensive knowledge of
modern technologies such as sensors, PLCs, and motion control
systems, we develop unique solutions.
We are not sales representatives for any automation
component companies so we don’t push products you do not need.
Not being tied to a specific company’s product allows us
to use the equipment that is best suited for our projects.
Our
philosophy is to make small project-based process improvements
rather than large scale company wide changes.
We have found that smaller projects are less disruptive and
are easier to complete in a short amount of time.
The goal of each project is to produce a quality product as
efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
Any changes we implement into a process are user friendly
and we provide work instructions that are easy to understand.
In addition we train the operators who are responsible for
the process. Technical
support and follow up visits are provided to make sure a project is
performing as expected.
The
president of the company, Scott Silverman, is a manufacturing
engineer specializing in process improvement.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing
Engineering Technology as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in
Finance. During his
15 plus years of working in small business manufacturing
environments, he has developed a scientific approach to making
existing processes more efficient without investing a lot of
money.
